Our story

PingPong Financial is a rapidly growing innovative payment service provider for cross-border e-commerce merchants across the world, which was founded by a group of payments and finance professionals in New York in 2015. Today, PingPong headquarter is located in Hangzhou, the payment and e-commerce hub of China, with business operations across 3 continents and over 500 employees. PingPong is committed to bring best-in-class services to merchants and to help them grow their business.

The story of PingPong begins with the “incredible 1%”. Back in 2016, most of the Asian cross-border merchants had difficulties opening a US bank account to withdraw their US earnings to their local Payment account. Even if some merchants managed to get a US bank account, they faced outrageous fees - between 3 and 5% - and a slow process - waiting for at least 3 business days - to bring home their earnings.

Thanks to the initiative of PingPong, cross-border merchants can now conveniently obtain a global PingPong pay-out account without any set-up fees, and withdraw their earnings within 1 business day for a fee as low as 1%.
